My ideas on a new relationship between American businesses and emerging markets will appear in the October magazine of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. I point out that business decision-makers took an unwise approach by shovelling sub-prime debt at minority communities, ultimately leading to the failure of their own firms. Analysts can instead recommend companies which are part of the solution to declining family income and falling employment. The disconnect between Wall Street and Main Street has to be bridged, especially as Wall Street now seeks taxpayers to cover their mistakes.
