Hollywood help?

Although Sen. Barack Obama netted $11 million from Hollywood last night, he might wonder about how helpful the entertainment industry is really to his campaign.

There’s already been one movie this year about assassinating a president; another starring Don Cheadle called Traitor and now the latest, Lakeview Terrace, starrring Samuel L. Jackson as the neighbor from hell in the suburbs.  I mean, it’s already tough enough for black folks to move into integrated neighborhoods.

Perhaps The Express, a movie about the first black Heisman Trophy winner, might engender some positive feelings about making history.
